This policy matured in Oct 2012, at which time my mom requested the payout. This is wat she received

20 Dec 2012, the Cons paid R5778, further reducing the payout. Their excuse: fluctuation changes. After 10 calls they decide to pay R1687 hoping to get rid of the problem. We wrote to the Ombudsman for Longterm Insurance. Ryan Sacs from Clientele is then asked to do a RECALC and LO and BEHOLD!!!
Those CHEATING ARTISTS had sucked figures from their thumbs for their quote on 27 Nov 2012 .
The amount was revised to R11654, while Clientele still continued to deduct premiums.

Clientele owes my mother, a pensioner, AN APOLOGY and compensation for PUNITIVE DAMAGES.
