Bank Officials insist on proof of payment

I am banking with Standard Bank since 1990. Currently hold a Prestige Current Account with an overdraft facility and credit card facility. Applied for a loan for R40 000. Informed by Bank Official that I am listed. I had to check myself who listed me. Listing was (R900) dispute with a Dr account since 2010 which was not my fault and proof of the dispute provided. However the staff insisted on proof that I paid. Why must I pay if I had proof that the Dr defaulted and not me. Staff not willing to give a motivation without proof that I have paid. Poor, Bad, Worse service ever. Despite this listing, ABSA and WesBank assisted with vehicle finance with no problems - they did not even enquire about this listing. Well for R900 listing SBSA will loose my accounts for sure. I've even complaint to SBSA's customer complaint line. What a laugh. Still no feedback. I do not even expect a positive feedback especially when I look at the complaints listed against SBSA. I hope the CEO also have a look on hello [URL Removed] to see what is happening. I might add that my account is well conducted with no returned items at all and this is the service received.
