Avbob do double deductions

We took an Avbob funeral policy an year ago, my paydate is the 25, now a year later they send an sms saying the payment did not go off, we phoned and they said January did not go off because of insufficient funds, we went to the bank and it did go off, we phoned them and they said no January 2012, it was 3days before the date the policy must go off. We asked them to explain and they told us they never send anything to tell us it did not go off, we told them but you can not just take it off double without notice and 4 days notice is insufficient as everyone works on a budget, they said they agree and will phone us back the next day. A couple days later the debit order went through double and when we phoned them they said it is because we were behind and the first person we spoke to told us it was when they implemented a new tracking system that this happened and it was from their side the problem with the debits existed, another consultant then spoke to us and told us we were behind and so we just had to pay, we told him it is not correct, they must give us prior notice, this showed AVBOB is not competant to do their work.
