I contacted AVBOB about a funeral policy, they were very fast to come to my office so that I can sign the papers and deducting the money every month, I asked them to send me my contract then they promise me the contract are in the post, it went on for 3 months then I decide to cancel the policy, I have faxed them a letter on the 16th May 2013, about the cancelation the call centre confirmed they received the letter and that they will cancel the policy, big was my surprise the payment went through still on my salary the end of May, now I am still struggling to get my money back from them, I asked the Ombudsman to assist me on this. I received a letter from AVBOB today my policy are cancelled as from the 1st June 2013 not even the date I cancelled it in May. I was told today to wait another 4 - 6 weeks before I will hear anything from AVBOB again. its not my fault they deduct the money from my bank account after I cancelled the policy with them, now I must wait 6 weeks before I hear anything from them, I was told its not a guarantee that I will even get my money back from them. actually I would like to get all 3 months back from them, because of the bad service.
