I took a phone through the smartphone offer. Firstly, I put my deduction date for the 1st, they deduct on the 25th so EVERY month I have a negative balance. Now, I see transactions for device insurance and courier fees. I never took device insurance. I paid courier fees in November when I first got the device. To top it all, FNB has the audacity to charge me R138 TWICE for unpaid items! I demand reversals of ALL these transactions on my account, as well as the correct debit date to be recorded on the system. I' seriously considering changing to CAPITEC and just pay the penalty for cancellation of the device contract! This is really NOT on!!! It did not help that I was put through to 5 different departments for all this!
