I have a clean credit record All my accounts are paid up to date I foresee a difficult time and we approach Standard Bank pro-actively but wow the service and the treatment we got left us gutted and gasping for air!!! Standard Bank approves revolving credit for me which is more expensive than to increase our home loan They do not read your e-mails to the end They ignore urgent specific requests in e-mails When you give an urgent request, about 30 pages of documents, to a prestige banker she does nothing after you told her it is very very urgent You have to send numerous requests to the HQ before anybody responds You then have to complete documents again although you gave the exact information already to them, twice; in a pack of documents and on Excel spread sheets via e-mail They capture the documents into the computer and the computer decides no empathy or sympathy It seems no request in an e-mail and information in the computer cannot be discussed or debated No sorry the prestige banker did not forward them on, you are a number No Communication no Consultation and no Confirmation In short the people of Standard Bank who dealt with our requests feel absolutely NOTHING for us!!
