Poor Service - Unbelievable

Old Mutual was renowed (in the past) as one of the most reliable, trustworthy life insurers in SA. This is no longer the case. Last year, i posted a compliant regarding specific instructions that were not carried out by a broker from their organisation, Michael Vilbert, pertaining to my policies that I had with the Old Mutual. I was duly contacted by an agent who assisted in "resolving" the matter, only to find out that my complaint was partially "resolved" in that, only 1 of my 2 policies was rectified. When I queried again in January 2013 regarding the second policy, requesting further investigation as to why both the policices were not addressed, the response was a mere, "a letter was posted to you" from Maria van Eden (to the incorrect address) that was their last response. In 2012 I emailed Mr Vilbert requesting my postal address and debit order details were updated as per the information I had provided to him, which was not done, which resulted in my debit orders not being paid and communiation in this regard being forwarded to an incorrect address. Does Old Mutual staff not know how to make use of a telephone to advise the client of the status of their policies?
