I have been a client with Amathuba for over two years. When I first joined, I was informed that I would receive certificates detailing the weight of precious metals purchased monthly - this I received for a month or two until a decision was made to provide these certificates quarterly. I then received about two or three certificates, following which, they have stopped coming altogether. The website has a contact number (0215530060) positioned under the heading "We are always available" - THE PHONE RINGS, NOBODY ANSWERS, THE MAILBOX IS FULL AND IT DOES NOT ALLOW YOU TO LEAVE A MESSAGE. Did they change office without telling me as well?

My other concern is that I aside from the mass certificates, there is not much else given to me as a client. I don't know at what price the metals where purchased, at what time, and what commissions were deducted. Probably in the fine print somewhere - but this should be more transparent. They are quick to call me with "promotions" - and promise to get someone to call me back regarding my certificate queries but it seems selling is more important than customer service.
