Unclaimed Provident Fund - not following t's & c's

July 2010: Company retrenched me. I still have not received my provident fund from Old Mutual.

Old Mutual has the discretion to withhold a member's benefit in some instances, but the benefit may only be withheld for a reasonable time period. It is a well-known fact that court proceedings, both civil and criminal, take time to be finalized, however, Old Mutual must monitor the matter (it was taken off the roll at the Court until further evidence is submitted - almost two years ago) so that the withholding does not become unreasonable. My ex-employers can therefore leave this case "hanging" for as long as they want; in the meantime I just don't get my money? I have numerous emails to various departments at Old Mutual asking them the way forward... I have not received a reply yet.
