Had to beg to cancel my policy

On Friday I cancelled my Outsurance policy. I heard too many complaints about rejected claims by Outsurance, while my family&friends are happy with their claims at Santam. So I decided to move from Outsurance who advertises the lowest quotes (because your claims are rejected?), to Santam who advertises paying out 99% of claims, before it's too late. First, I spoke to Natasha, who didn't want to cancel my policy but didnt know how to convince me to stay. Her manager, Aadila Khalil, then also refused to cancel it and even said she'll go into my friend's policy whose claim was rejected to prove that Outsurance had a valid reason for rejecting it - very unethical&unprofessional. She then referred me to her manager, Mapula, who started bad mouthing Santam (again unethical&unprofessional) and said I must remember Santam has a 10% excess payment if your car gets, which is not true - it's a R2500 flat excess per my policy. I know it's their job to try to retain clients&convince them to stay, but it irritates me that I had to beg 3 different people for about 30 minutes to cancel my policy before Mapula eventually helped me. They should just do what their clients ask them to do!
