Santam changes policy to suit them!

After my girlfriend and I experienced some problems I temporarily moved in with my mother. I left a lot of my belongings with her and stored most of my other items in my mothers garage. I did change the address on my policy. We had a break in and they belongings to the value of R93 000 out of the garage. Now Santam claims that they only pay out 2% of the insured sum or R5000 if belongings are out of your garage. The assessor even emailed me a copy of my policy where it states this.
On the policy document that I received from Santam via email it doesn't mention this at all it only states that belongings at the specified address are insured for the sum that you chose. I still have the email in which they sent me my policy with the policy attached. I forwarded this to the assessor but he just ignored it and sent me the other copy of the policy which I have never seen.
The assessor is extremely rude, doesn't even work for Santam and probably gets commission on the claims that he rejects.
I can see this going to the ombudsman if they don't resolve this. And please, don't bother with your automated responses.
