Last week I decided to take up the Standard Bank iPad offer.
After the transaction had cleared on the Standard Bank side, I spoke to the supplier DG Store. After a few days, they appeared to be "stalling".
We live in a world where instant gratification needs to be the norm and when you find an organisation being too laid back and waiting for "processes and procedures", intervention MUST take place.
I spoke to a guy by the name of "Hastings" (my humblest apologies if I got the spelling wrong) - a supervisor at Card Division, who listened to my problem & agreed to intervene on my behalf.
It seems like DG Store was giving him the run around as well, - I just can't believe that DG Store operate the way they do. There are other online stores that promise and make 24-hour deliveries in this country. Heck, I've even had an order from Italy delivered within 5 days (via 4 countries)! And yet DG Store can't process an order (for collection by customer nogal) within 40km, in less than 3 days!
I also spoke to Shivesh Maharaj at Standrd Bank Head Office and EVENTUALLY btwn Hastings and Shivesh, my order was fully processed by DG Store, and I was able to collect.
