ABSA are falsely advertising

I tried to apply for an iPad with the 24 month fix instalments option, as it's stated on their website. During the application process, the person who called me informed me that there is no way to pay over 24 month, unless I put it all on my credit card and pay off my card. This is merely paying it on my card, which is no different to going into any store that sells them and putting it on my credit card. I have tried calling to clear this up, thinking it may have been an employee who was 'out of the loop', but the other operator ensured me that this was the case. False advertising is ILLEGAL!!!
