Potentiate fee structure change

In Nov and Dec 2012, I noticed that I was being charged additionally for my Titanium credit card, which is supposed to be included in the potentiate package. I then went to the ABSA menlyn branch on 9 Jan. A consultant explained to me that there is a new potentiate package. So the account that I had, had been changed to the new package, but the fee structure was not changed, which meant that the benefit of having the potentiate account was cancelled out and I was charged additionally for the credit card. I was not informed of this change and I feel that it is unacceptable that an account and fee structure can change without the client being informed about it! In addition to this, why was the fee structure not changed when the account type was changed? Why does the customer need to identify the problem and go into the branch to get this problem rectified? I was also informed that I would be charged pro rata for this month for the bank charges on the old fee structure! Bank charges that I should not have been charged in the first place!! I feel that I should not have to pay these charges and should also be reimbursed for the charges that were incorrectly added to my account.
