MISERABLE BANK WITH HIGH CHARGES

Why have I kept my business account at Standard Bank for 15 years? I'm to blame. I should have walked years ago. I've had nothing but rotten impersonal non-service this whole time and huge charges. Like the time my overdraft went R 5 (YES) overdrawn and the bank charged me R120 penalty for this and dishonoured my most recent debit order. How do you justify this?

Do you people know anything about service? Do you know how much the SA public loathe you??? We can't even telephone the branch anymore because you HIDE all phone numbers behind some incompetent call centre. Brainless, useless, incompetent managers... I kid you not.

Now in the latest scandal, not even the "secure message service" in internet banking works. My first "secure message" sent on 28th January was totally ignored. I have the printout that the system made to prove it was recorded. The second complaint, which was less than polite sent yesterday has also been ignored.

When is the Standard Bank going to wake up to the reality of their service. Terminate your stupid campaign trying to recruit new clients and show some LOYALTY and RESPECT to your existing clients.

I am so angry I could spit.
