Still no assistance in claim

A claim logged with Absa insurance on 2013-12-19. Was told an assessor will phone and confirm an appointment within 48 hours.By 2013-12-23 (4 days later), I had to phone Absa insurance again to ask where is the assessor. I was told they have a backlog and I will have to wait! I phoned on 2014-01-06, 2014-01-08, 2014-01-10 still no results. You need to phone a few times before someone answers. I eventually phoned the action line on 2014-01-15. They took my details and promise to follow up with the assessor and ask him to phone me for an appointment. Two days later still nothing, so I phoned again on 2014-01-17. They assigned a new assessor to the claim and within an hour the assessor phoned and made an appointment for 2014-01-18. Nearly 3 weeks later and several calls and still no joy. 2014-02-06 claim details incorrect and still the same answer: they are waiting for the go ahead. I get transferred 4 times and then gets cut off. I even phoned the Ombudsman to get complain forms and was told I first have to write Absa a letter and wait 30 working days for Absa to respond. So waste more time and money. My advice: STAY AWAY FOR ABSA INSURANCE!
