So I managed to lodge a claim for a faulty aircon after numerous attempts (Absa, your online system does NOT work, apparently your Apache servers are permanently down).
Rene Olckers actually phoned me back, took my details, I was very impressed. Unitl after I had a contracter's report on the faulty aircon, and sent it to her via email (which she supplied). It has now been more than a week, and I havent even received so much as a confirmation of receipt. In the meantime, the aircon is still faulty and we have been struggling through the hottest cape weather for more than a month. I only asked for a confirmation that the report was received and what the procedure is going forward. I am still hoping that someone picks up my claim, and not that they are IGNORING my mails. Hope is something that is easily lost...
