How can we help you applicable only to wealthy

Business & Finance

I phoned or rather sent an email requesting my debit orders be held back because my salary date which I was informed late of changed. I informed FNB their response they cannot help me. This is the message I received
Dear Mrs Green
Please note that your last unpaids were in October 2013.
Please note that when you change your salary date it is your responsibility to change the debit order date with the relevant companies so that your debit orders can go through on that particular date. Please be advised that when there are recent unpaids on the system the system automatically return the debit orders if there's no sufficient funds on the account on that particular date.
Yesterday my account was overdrawn I could not transfer money from another account to my FNB because both systems were offline on Saturday evening. I knew my account would be overdrawn hence me battling to get the money into my account. I transferred the money successfuly yesterday and yes my account was overdrawn but the money went it. This money all the debit orders were returned 5xR138.00. Yet there was money in the account and those debit orders were returned. Is this how FNB helps clients.
Regards
Ntombi
