Apparently being a prestige account holder with Standard Bank, does not make any difference in the "" service they provided to their customers.
With immediate effect you can close my Prestige Bank account including ALL other accounts. I do not find the need to continue the relationship with Standard Bank as a prestige customer any longer, after being treated like "" by Standard Bank. Without the courtesy of a phone call a d/order R3, 931.55 has been returned "RTD" on top of that I was charged a phone call fee, WHICH I DID NOT RECEIVE, not even my wife, yet Standard has ALL our contact details INCLUDING email address. Standard bank your customer service is a disgrace, even more so for "prestige" customer.
I view this matter as very important and do intent taking this matter to the Bank Ombudsman as well as media. Also NOTE that this is NOT the first time that Standard Bank has neglected and wronged my account.
To mediate this matter I will accept the following, ALL charged surrounding this transaction be reversed, my account will be cleared from any adverse damaging comments/notes. As well as a letter of apology to MFC for RTD my payment.
