Illegal charge of insurance

I have a vehicle finance with ABSA and from June 2013 they started charging me an amount of R 484, 95 on my account claiming to be "insurance" without my consent. When I enquired I was told this was done as they are not sure I do not have insurance. I told them I have insurannce and they said I need to prove that or else they will continue to charge me the insurance which is something they did up until now. Despite all my communications and complaints this issue has never been resloved which has resulted in me being in arrears and my credit history damaged. I have moved my bond already from ABSA as they seem to be very inefficient and I find them very unfair as I am not sure they chanrge everyone who is on their vehicle finance.
