On the morning of the 27th of Jan, I made a call to the Standard Bank call centre urgently requesting a statement from mid-2012 for tax return purposes. I was asked to repeats the same security questions several times, then when I asked for it to be sent urgently, I was told it would take 48 hours to send an email. 48 hours to send an email??? And then it would cost R20 PER PAGE to be sent this email. It has been more than 2 days and no email has arrived. This is shocking service and the whole call centre experience is a horrible one. This is just the push I need to change banks. Very disappointed
