No Response To Claim For Hail Damage

This complaint is on behalf of Alana Donkin: A claim was submitted online on 19 Dec 2013. A claim number was received (2508564) via sms on 19 Dec and that's the last I have heard from ABSA. I have extensive and serious hail damage to various parts of my roof, house and exterior which Is now getting worse with every bit of rain (or worse storms) we have. I have attempted to phone numerous times and been kept holding for lengthy periods and have E-mailed to which I get the response "someone will be in contact shortly. Nobody responds. On 18 January 2014 I eventually got my own contractor to give me a quote, out of sheer desperation. The quote was submitted to ABSA on 23 January and yet again no response. This is truly shocking from ABSA and not the service I'm used to. Please can someone contact me urgently on 079 891-7843 in order to sort my claim and get the damages fixed before I have any further, larger problems, e.g., my roof/ceiling collapsing due to the hail damage and water leakage.
