Always Offline No Client Service

I am in Spar paying for goods. Suddenly my checkcard and creditcard is declined. Phoned bank that handles Spar's business - Nedbank. Reason fo r decline: Standard Bank is offline. I come home and phone. Yes, they are offline and is very sorry. Doesnt help me - I wasted my time and petrol on a bank that loves to go offline and left me with a red face. Had to leave goods at store...
I tell the consultant this. Sorry sir I cannot help you with that. Promises to put me directly through to Complaints. I sit and hold on for ever listening to stupid sounds that pretends to be music. Then after a loooong while, I am just cut of... Service? Care?
Standard Bank should get a system that doesnt love to go off line so often. They owe me a proper apology and compensation for cost of telephone call. my time and petrol wasted because of their inability to deliver. O yes.. get a back-up system..
