Dissapointed @ the lack of customer service!

I applied for a loan through African Bank on Saturday and went to the branch to do the paperwork. The consultant told me on Monday that there was a problem with my application and I should come in the branch again of which i did. I left work early and was reassured by the consultant that when I come in all will be fine and the money will be paid there and there since all the confirmations were already done.

The consultant helping me (Vusi Nxumalo) was very helpful and apologised for the inconvenience. When all was complete around 5pm and when my money had to be paid in, the lady at the enquiries refused to do the transaction saying she was busy with "batching". The consultant pleaded with her to do the transaction. I waited for an hour for her to finish as suggested by the consultant. When I went to the window to ask how long more to wait, she told me she is not going to do it as she also wants to go home and cook! I was appalled by her attitude. She wasn't prepared to help me even after I waited that long! I must say this lady brings the whole Daveyton team down, all the consultants there are very helpful and friendly. She just never smiles at customers. Very dissaponting!
