Assesor can't do his job/bad service from advise

Claim no 107284019 I had an accident with my Golf 19/1/14 Outsurance sent someone to load car & on Monday Lillian called to say the assesor is looking at the car. Later same day she phoned again to say car will be fixed at Multispray Repairers who will contact me. Excess amount R1330. I was asked to rate which I did as awesome. 23/1 received sms to phone Lillian. There was no reply and press 1 for message not working. Phoned Multispray about the car & was told it was written off- they haven't got it. On the photo they saw shock wasn't included in assesment & notified Outsurance who then decided to write it off. NO ONE NOTIFIED ME. With Lillian still not available. I phoned the call centre and was told Lillian left a day ago a & the car was indeed written off. As the car can be repaired. there is no need to write it off so Outsurance offers me a pathetic R5800 to solve my own problems. How bad is this service! No one informs me what is to happen to the car, the assessor punishes me for his incompetency and I get a pathetic amount to solve my own problems. Why have insurance with Outsurance at all!
