No help on new years

On the 31 December 2013 i had a accident with my car, i was traveling and there was n big rock in the middle of the road, because of on coming traffic i could not serve out of the way, it hit my sump and all my engen oil was leaking out. I had to drive to the nearest place to prevent damaging my car. When I phoned Miway, they where closed for the new year and my call was directed to road side assistants. Unfortunately they said because I am not stuck on the side of the road they can not assist me and they cant do anything to help. I had to make alternative arrangement to get home. Is this not why you have insurance? I have a comprehensive option to help me in cases like this. Why bother having insurance option if they cant help you, I chose Miway because i thought they had the best service and option, but i have to consider alternative insurance companies. This is very disappointing.
