Standard Bank
What the???

I have been having problems settling my car and have put Standard Bank on hello peter a few time, yesterday I finally get a settlement figure from them but on a email, wanted to do the payment yesterday but I had to phone all divisions of Standard Bank to get the banking details, my bank then said to me (which I agreed) I need to get this on a proper letterhead from Standard Bank, with correct details doing thousands on a simple email is just not right - so I requested the letter from Standard Bank Service recovery unit

This is the answer I received:
You may have to wait another 5 business days as I need to send another request to Debt review, please note that a new settlement figure will then have to be quoted. -

Why should I be penalized because they not doing things right? I got so many other settlements and it was done on a proper letterhead from the start - Because standard bank is not doing thing right I must now pay for it??? not on!!!
