How to loose a 30 year old account

My card expired in November 2013.

Following instructions, I informed card division on 15th November that I had not had renewal card. Was told 5-10 working days lead time.

Visited my branch first week in December, no card.

Visited my branch first week in January, no card. Was told courier company was problem.

Complained on website, no card.

Asked various questions on website, no answer.

Visited my branch today, no card. Again told courier company was problem.

Enough excuses.

I then closed my 30 year old credit card account, and for good measure my three savings accounts.

I WILL get better service from another bank.
