5-7 working days have lapsed and still no delivery

I have a Blue Bean credit card which I reported as lost on 17/8/13. The consultant asked where I wanted the new card to be delivered to and I clearly specified Std Bank at Centurion Mall. I was told that my card would be delivered within 5-7 days. During the following week, I think on 21/8, I followed up just to make sure, I was firmly told that the card would be delivered within 5-7 working days and by 27/8 whereafter I would receive a sms advising that I could collect my card. Today, 27/8 at around 3:15 pm I phoned to follow up & I'm now told that the card is with the courier... some story about the wrong code & the courier didn't confirm where the card must be delivered. Does the courier need to confirm or should Std Bank be giving clear instructions to the courier? I'm told that the card will be at Std Bank in Centurion Mall within 3 - 4 days. I purchased various items with my card & I need to return some of those items & I need my credit card to do so. Please can somebody ensure that this card is actually delivered to Std Bank at Centurion Mall "soon"?
