I have a personal loan with Nedbank that was taken out 2 years ago but the service ive received since then has been appalling. I have notified them that i am currently unemployed and have made the necessary arrangements to pay my account at the end of each month with the stipulated amount agreed upon, yet i keep being triple debited each month after they've received their initial payment. This has put my bank account into a negative status and on numerous occasions ive called to correct the problem. The calls are recorded, it gets noted on their system, they assure you that the amount and the date is now correct yet the same problem keeps on occurring. When asked to speak to management they place you on hold for long periods and tell you that their management is not available or busy. Today i called to cancel my debit order as this was advised by the banking ombudsman so that i could go physically into the bank to make the payments each month, i was first given the run around from staff member's at Nedbank as i was sent from one department to the next only to be transferred back to the same department i started in. I'm disgusted in their service and find them to be incompetent.
