Debiting on two dates for the same payment!

I have a debit order for my credit card payment to my check account. I queried this over a month ago and no one got back to me. but who cares? not Nedbank! I have a minimum payment due on my credit card, when you debited my account on the 20th you took the amount of R1370, I assumed all payments were up to date because you debited, this is all I owed for the month. then on the 30th you try to debit me for another R570! I get an sms to tell me it's rejected and now I owe R570! when I check my statement the minimum payment due is R1940 - I am annoyed because why would you take the same payment of two separate debits? I had money on the 20th if that was the amount due why did you take the wrong amount? now I get bank charges - when I didn't even know that I was outstanding because you didn't even bother to let me know. I have cancelled the debit order and will pay the minimum amount every month on the 20th. Even though this is inconvenient - I cannot trust that you will debit on the correct date for the correct amount. Why don't I have issues with my personal loan with nedbank? Maybe it's just the credit card division that has no idea what they are doing.
