Standard Bank
R3.00 fee for setting a Pin

Business & Finance

I find it rediculous that I am being charged R3.00 for setting a Pin on my credit card issued to me when my previous one expired.

I was told, when I called the BlueBean call centre, that this is a valid charge and is due.

What work on your part justiifes this fee? I inserted my card at the branch in the terminal and punched in the Pin. No other bank that I bank with charged me for doing this, when I replaced cards recently.

I request that my account be reviewed, that the fee charged to me be reversed, and that the Bank reconsiders its policy for charging such fees.
