My problem has started when I tried purchasing from a shop and paying with my card. The funds had been deducted from my account but the merchant brought it up as being declined/unsuccessful. So I called standard bank within minutes, on the 21 December. I was advised by Paul that it will take 0-48 hours. I had then called over 48 hours later and was advised by Kagiso on the 24 December that it usually takes 12 working days and that he is escalating the problem and will call me before the close of business that day. Which he hadn't done. I then called on the 27 and was told by Veshnie that Kagiso will only be in on the 28 and he will return my call and that she will get a consultant to call me within 24hours. Till today I have not gotten a call back from either of them. I called in on the 3 Jan and spoke to thabisong at 2 PM and was told that someone will call me within 1 hour and she will do a follow up call before close of business as well as get Veshnie and Kagiso to call me back. I have yet to receive calls that I should have gotten on the 24, 27-28 and on the 3rd (from Kagiso, Veshnie, thabisong and the consultant thabisong said that will call me within 1 hour).
