Ongoing problems... but i cant cancel my policy!

It has been over 3 months now and MiWay has still not been able to correctly replace my damaged windscreen. I have provided a previous report on this website regarding the issue.

Their service is pretty atrocious. So i have decided to change my insurer, it being opportune as i am in the process of purchasing a new vehicle.

I called in December and was informed (incorrectly) by the consultant that standard practice was for me to take delivery of the vehicle. And then call to cancel insurance on the old vehicle and take up a new policy. If i was not happy with their quote i could go with another insurer. When i discussed this with the dealer they were surprised (shocked actually) and advised otherwise.

I called again on the 30/12/13 and spoke with a consultant that advised he would be able to provide a quote on the new car but would have to refer the cancellation to the cancellations dept. The quote was way more expensive than others i have received and i have never yet received a call from the cancellations dept.

In Jan, i was billed for another months insurance on the car to be traded in. I tried this time to send an e-mail using their web-site. Still no response at all.
