I have been a Momentum Policy Holder for several years and had to claim under the disability cover this year after having been medically dismissed from my employer.
After submitting numerous Medical Reports including 3 from a Pulmonologist I was informed that this would take approx. 1 month to finalize. After a month I started contacting Momentum to ascertain progress and get told that this will be finalized the next week but this has now been 3 months and was again told today after I had to follow up with them again that the matter is still with the one Manager and they would get her to contact me but this told to me on several previous occasions as well but no-one bothers to contact me or keep me informed of progress. If I don't phone them nothing will happen but in the meantime I keep paying their premiums for the cover but get absolutely no service from Momentum's side. Is this how it is with Insurance Companies, take your premiums but keep you on a line when they have to honour their part of the Policy???
