Delay in paying out Policy

I have been an Edgars Account holder for numerous years and also took out a Disability Policy many years ago.
During September 2012 I was medically retrenched by my employer and following 3 diagnosis reports from a Pulmonologist I submitted a claim against the disability policy.
This has been faxed and E-Mailed to 3 E-Mail addresses but Edgars keep requesting a Final report from the Doctor but in the Doctors 3rd Report he in fact stressed sarcastically that there is no other word for "Final" but he sent another letter stating that I have been disabled since last year. Edgars however keep contacting me regarding the account.
I also requested Edgars in writing to cancel several other Policies and E-Mailed this all 3 E-Mail addresses but the premiums still get deducted off my Edgars account.
What was the point of taking out a disability policy and must one be in your Grave before anything happens??? Shocking to say the least.
