I have a claim due to lightning damage to electrical cables. It was over a weekend when ABSA's lines were down as per sms they sent out. The repair cost me almost R15000 to which they are paying R10000 because I apparently overpaid the contractor. And now when it is time to pay me my money after numerous calls and emails, I get absolutely no response from them. Their call centre and their staff do not respond to emails. I have trying to finalise this for over a week now.
This is the worse insurance company to deal with... ever.
