I registered a claim in November 2013 for hail damage. All was ok, until contractor realized that 2 claims were mixed up. Since then its been a struggle to get an answer on what the problem is. ABSA says all is in order, the contractor says it's not. Yesterday I was informed that the contractor is on his way to my property. I arranged for someone to be there, and they don't pitch. Eventually when I got hold of them, the contractor said they haven't received the job card. They cannot proceed without the job card. But ABSA said all is ok. So where is the problem?

When you call the call center, either "all consultants busy" or "no consultant available". When you get through, you leave messages, no one calls back, or you're send from one person to the other until you're cut off. Yesterday afternoon, I was send from one person to the other until 16h30, then cut-off and when I called again, got the message "business hours between 08h00 and 16h30. What a co-incidence to be cut-off at that time. Since the 23rd of this month, I spoke to 4 different people, send emails, no response at all.

I'm fed-up having to call ABSA for sorting this out.
