Temporary suspension of RCP

Yesterday I transferred an amount to my RCP, when trying to transfer the amount back it was declined. On phoning the bank they told me my facility had been temporarily suspended and with no explanation on their system (also I didn't receive any notification of any means that this account had been suspended)

Phoning the credit rehabilitation call Centre today to which I spoke to 17 different people and put through to a fax line twice, eventually found out that it was due to payments being in arrears. I have had my account for 27 years and have never had any payments returned due to lack of funds. This amount goes off my current every month which is also a Standard Bank account. My statement says current and no arrears amount outstanding.

I was told that at 9 this morning that an email would be sent and I would be cc'd in. At 1pm I had still not received anything, regardless that I had stressed the urgency. I made another phone call and was told they would follow up, at 2pm I received an email where they requested the other department to lift the suspension.

Now 6 pm and nothing further has been resolved.
