How long does it take to get feedback

I called in last week Monday 9th December 2013 and spoke to a sales lady. I applied for a credit card and since now, no-one has gotten back to me. Every time I call in they tell me that it takes 3 days of which the 3 days never seem finish. eg today I was told 3-7 days but I applied last week. The lady I spoke to last week said that I should inquire on Monday if I don't get a response, but today I'm told to wait for another 7 days. Come on guys.
