Long process for a credit card??

Good Morning

I applied for a credit card over a month ago, I had to wait for a new payslip. Once I had handed my new payslip in the where processing it and said it will take 5 working days.

I spoke to 3 diffetent people once it was confirmed to approve the contarct and they said I would have delivery in 3 working days, everytime I call they wanting someting but I have to call first to recieve an answer I called this morning to ask when I can expect deleivery and they said another 3-5 days.

This is shocking service to me as my work friend applied after me and received it before me. And im still having to wait.

I wouldnt have applied for the card if i never needed it I dont undetstand why its taking so long and why I have to follow up.
