In 2011 I made a big mistake by taking a loan from Nedbank for the amount of R20000 (interest rates were never discussed with me - the "deal" was so quickly sealed and after more than a year the settle amount is still R14000) When I took the loan NEDBANK required a debit order to be signed which I agreed upon... obviously. Every month a get a curtesy call from Nedbank THANKING me for my payment and asking if any details have been changed... all good. This morning, a rather cheeky guy phoned me from Nedbank saying that I am a payment of R1070 short... get this... FOR MARCH 2012!!! LAST YEAR? My account records does not go that far back so I cant verify this. Now they want me to either make double payment or make "arrangements". WHY CALL ME EVERY MONTH AND ONLY AFTER A WHOLE YEAR, TELL ME THIS AND WHAT ABOUT THE DEBIT ORDER? I cant wait to see how Nedbank is going to answer this one and just at least try to change my horrible feelings that I have for this bank. A WHOLE YEAR AFTER THEY PHONE ME EVERY MONTH???!!!
