WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT!!!

I have cell phone insurance that I hvae been paying religiously on a monthly basis. When I took out the insurance I was not informed about IME nrs or any other requirements. The consultant just asked me for the details of the phones and I started paying extra. I was never advised that a IME nr was required and thereafter never called to inform me that this was a requirement. No I have lost the phones and now they need IME and ITC numbers. The IME number is on the box apparently and
I do not have the boxes of the phones and they are almost 2 years old already and apparently the IME nr is on the phone as well. The phones are gone. Now they wont cover as I require this IME nr that was never disclosed to me. I am paying for cell phone cover but they wont assist me now that it is gone. Why was I never informed about this. Why was this not made a requirement and why did they not follow up on this. When taking vehicle insurance they urged me to get the inspection and even called me to confirm receipt as I would not have been cover without it. why was this done with the cell phone cover. And now the phones are gone and what now. Need to change insurance company NOW.
