My card was retained by ATM at Cavendish Square, Cape Town and immediately I went inside the branch to report and nobody could help me. I was just told to wait for a technician while the FNB staff went about chatting. After about an hour the technician had not arrived and I had to cancel the card. Next morning I went to FNB Pinelands Branch to order a new card. All went well till this morning when I went to collect the card and the staff started coming up with stories regarding my proof of address. I took with me two different copies of where I stay and when I arrived there I got told I need to e-mail those copies as well. I cant go back today as I have already used my lunch hour this morning to go to the bank. In the meantime I have been without cash since last week Tuesday. Why is FNB punishing me for their own technical problems (Its their ATM that retained my card in the first place). PEOPLE DON'T BANK WITH FNB. THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY AND THEM MAKE YOUR LIFE A LIVING
