In November I went to the Rosebank branch of Standard bank to close my account. I completed the process and left the branch thinking the account had been closed and holding documentation to that effect. I have since found out that the account has not in fact been closed and additional fees have been debited to the account. I attempted to resolve the situation via the somewhat ironically named help line and was put through to phones that simply rang unaswered.
