Last night I received an sms to notify me that FNB has debited my account with the full amount outstanding on a loan account I took out with them a few years ago.

The amount debited is 75% of my salary and none of my monthly expenses have been paid yet.

Upon phoning the call centre, they notified me that they are unable to access my account or make any changes thereto.

This is unacceptable and surely against the law. No phone call to notify me that the loan is in arrears or to make any payment arrangements, ever.

I am sure this is not in line with the NCR?

Please help!!!
