BITE OFF MORE THAN THEY CAN CHEW?

After the 28 November hail storm, I find myself with damages to my buildings of nearly R200, 000. Although I am covered for R2 million, Outsurance refuses to pay my claim. Melissa Stoffels says "damages too severe and the amount for repairs is above what we can settle". So the claim was referred to Tracey Grobler who writes "I forwarded your quotation to my manager as the quantum of the claim is above my mandate". All this after 1 week of waiting with countless calls and e-mails on my part and thunderstorms every day. I cannot wait around while outsurance is PASSING THE BUCK in order to come to a decision - PAY ME MY MONEY so that I can start with repairs. Christmas is around the corner - am I to be left with flooded floors, rotting carpets, broken-down cupboards, collapsed ceilings, no electricity and an overall state of misery??? All the LESS FAMOUS insurances have paid out within 3 days - why can't outsurance do the same? How are they going to pay the OUTBONUSES of million of Rands to those people who invest in Life Cover after 15 years if my claim is too high? They are very prompt to take my money every month so they should honour my claim and pay me - preferably today!!!
