My printer and modem was struck by lightening a month ago, I put in my claim which was handled by Mmatshepo Maloka, I called her and mailed her as I heard nothing about the claim and she very rudly never retruned a call or mail, I then got hold of someone else at the claims dept and managed to get my printer delivered to me from New world, the printer was a complete downgrade to what I had I then ran around between discovery and new world to get the correct printer, new printer arrives its stil a downgrade, I had an HP office jet and they keep replacing it with a Deskjet, I then maied Nicol the claims manager who replied to one mail and when I mailed again to tell her I was not happy she still has not returned my mail, its cost me a fortune in calls between discovery insure and new world to get my stuff which I pay insurance on every month. I want my Office jet printer replaced by an office jet and not this awful looking deskjet which is alot cheaper then my original office jet. The claims dept service is shocking and I really think I made a huge mistake by changing to discovery insure.. I left several messages for managers or team leaders to call me but no reply.
