I opened up a business acc with standard bank for my restaurant. i then requested to have merchant machines installed. it all started with the call centre advising that they do not accept the concession on rates that RASA providesand delayed the process by a week. due to the consultants ignorance at the call centre i had to take over my business and run for 5 days without merchant machines. when the merchant machine arrived, it arrived with no base and a cellphone charger. i then called jenny maharaj from standard bank as she was the liason from the bank that arranged the machines. she was also very unhelpfull as she couldnt help me. i also requested that they send a technician to install the devices but was told that standard bank does not send out technicians any more and i would need to call the call centre. i did but the person i spoke to activated the machines but did not load it for a restaurant but a supermarket rather. nonetheless i can type another page of what has happened thereafter but my fingers are now sore. its a month later i am still do not have american express loaded on my machines which i was told was loaded on the 20th of november.
