Standard Claim STH13110388774 BA Morgan

Business & Finance

On the 4th November 2013 we called SBIB and reported we had Damage to our Pool/Property. The consultant explained they would need to send an Assessor and Pool Expert to view the damage and write a report. Both the Assessor and The Pool Doctor completed their reports we then had a long holdup with the quote. A quote was obtained on 27/11/2013 (emailed to SBIB on 28/11/2013). I called for an update on the 3rd Dec 2013 and the consultant who took the call informed me that she would look into the matter and call back this did not happen. So I called again and spoke to Gazelle and she explained to me it was now handed over to her Manager who will make a decision. Later on in the day I followed up on the progress of our claim and I was told "Mrs Morgan this amount/claim is large R52, 650 and needs to be looked at". PLEASE NOTE this is not the first time reference has been made to the amount and decision in the same sentence? It leads one to believe that the amount has a direct effect on the outcome of your final decision? This after 17 yrs with SBIB (making monthly payments (which amount too far more than the claim amount). We look forward to our claim being resolved. Regards C Morgan
